APPLICATION SPECIALISTS

◙ Formal tertiary qualifications in a clinical discipline or health information management.   ◙ Project Management, IT or equivalent qualifications is desirable.   ◙ Demonstrated knowledge of clinical information system processes related to medical, nursing and paramedical disciplines in a hospital environment.   ◙ Strong employment record of direct clinical environment in the acute health field with a sound knowledge of clinical workflows and interdepartmental relationships.   ◙ Experience in facilitating clinician groups to provide input to projects and to make decisions relating to project requirements.   ◙Demonstrated analytical, communication and inter-personal skills.   ◙ Cooperate well and work well with others in the pursuit of team goals, share information, support others, show consideration, concerns and respect for others.   ◙ Enthusiastic and Committed.  Demonstrate capacity for sustained effort, set high standard of performance for self and others   ◙ Adaptable, receptive to new ideas, respond and adjust easily to changing work demands and circumstances, are not bound by old ways of doing things.
