More Nurses Than Ever
In the Nursing Board Exam, there had been more Passers in the last 2 years (2007 & 2008) than in the previous 10 years (1997 to 2006)
Just to confirm what may simply be a suspicion among many people; yes, the Philippines has turned out more registered nurses in the last two years, than all the previous 10 years.

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS OF THE NURSING BOARD EXAMS
The Integrated Nursing Licensure Examination (or Board Exam) is conducted twice a year by the PRC (Professional Regulation Commission) among graduates of BSN courses. The first exam is now given in the month of June (previously in April or May) and the second in December. The exam are done in 11 cities namely; Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu,Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
The exam is done on Saturday or Sunday. There are 5 subjects covered as follows; Promotive Care, Preventive Care, Curative Care (A), Curative Care (B), and rehabilitation care.
The highest possible score in each exam is 100%, passing score is 75%.
