JUNE '09 NURSING BOARD EXAMS WAS "MOST DIFFICULT"
The lowest passing rate (number of passers divided by number of takers) in the Philippine Nursing Licensure Exam (NLE) in the last 11 years has been the last NLE, the one held in June 2009.
The passing rate for June 2009 was exactly 41.86% (32, 617 passers vs. 77, 909 total takers). That's the lowest passing rate since 1998 up to the middle of 2009.
The second lowest passing rate was in June 2006, when there were 17, 821 passers, as against 42, 006 takers, or a passing rate of 42.42%.
